Democrats fail to blow election

This is hilarious, from Andy Borowitz:

Just minutes after their party's longstanding losing tradition lay in tatters on the ground, millions of shell-shocked Democrats stared at their television screens in disbelief, asking themselves what went right.

For Democrats, who have become accustomed to their party blowing an election even when it seemed like a sure thing, Tuesday night's results were a bitter pill to
swallow.

Well, as one of the most open minded people who posts here, I am trying to see the positive sides of this.

Clarence Turner expressed a good thought about the positive consequences of a black president, at about the 2:00 mark of this video.

Also, Dan, you have been talking about how unifying and nonpartisan Obama will be, so convicne me. Tell me how the selection of Rami Emanual, his first apointment, illustrates that. My ears are open.

After hearing all those scary commericials about Obama, I would have thought he would appoint William Ayers or Rev. Wright to the post.

So, you should be happy with a mere congressman :)
